THE PRINCESS & THE PEA

Once upon a time there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess but she would to be real princess. The prince was difficulty to find her. He has travelled all over the word.

One evening there was terrible storm came, and a knocking was heard at the city gate.

When the old king went to open it, there was a princess standing out there. And yet she said that she was a real princess.

Then she went into the bed-room, took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on tap of the mattresses.

The people were confused. They asked to the princess, how she had slept.

After she explained all, the prince, the king, & the queen knew that she was a real princess, because she had felt the pea right through the twenty mattresses and the twenty eider-down beds.

So, the prince took her for his wife, for now he knew that he had a real princess, and the pea was put in the museum, where it may still e seen, if no one has stolen it.
